The CD "Elvis 75" celebrates the 75th birthday of Elvis Presley and the life and music of the world’s first rock and roll star. The three CD, 75 song collection is released four days before what would have been The King’s 75th Birthday. Elvis 75 demonstrates Presley at his best.
The collection runs from "Heartbreak Hotel" -- the classic that first made Elvis’ name in the UK back in 1956, to the hugely popular "A Little Less Conversation" -- the number 1 JXL remix that was released in 2002 and reaffirmed the British adoration for the hip-swivelling King of rock’n’roll.
The selection features the biggest UK smash hits, encompassing many genres and amazingly all 75 of these songs were Top 20 hits!
How much longer must we endure these seemingly endless compilations? Isn't it about time that Sony or whoever is in charge this week dig deeper into the vaults.

Dig deeper for what? 75 songs that the general public isn't generally familiar with in hopes that they will plunk their money down for those unfamiliar songs (to them) and thus become better educated? Never happen.

You are right, Mofoca 22 ! As Elvis once said with so much cleverness : "If you don't like it, move it !" I bought it on Dec. 19th and I am really happy with that decision.

Thanks for that mofoca, the next time i want someone with the writing skills of Jodie Tatum to comment on my review you will be informed.
Well said Shep your point of view is as valid as anybodies, snide comments really. But! I do think this one will be a big one for Elvis, it's already in the American and UK charts.

So what is going on? "Elvis 75" is a four CD set with 100 songs released by Sony. Same name "Elvis 75" is a three CD set with 75 songs also released by Sony. Both have the same picture on the front. Can someone explain? Does Elvis stuff sell so well and so easily that the marketing is left to chimpanzees? (Sorry chimps, low blow). I've posted this message on a number of articles because "Elvis 75" has turned up all over the place. PS. The music is still great!
