Excellent, Brilliant from the Cover Art to the Songs inside. ELVIS Presley at his very best. ALL the songs are exceptionally good. Great Album.

While it is criticised for inlcuding sentimental ballads (the king of rock 'n' roll covering True Love?!), I actually prefer these non-soundtrack cuts. I Need You So, Tell Me Why & Is It So Strange stand out for me. As for the true soundtrack songs, I tend to skip over them- not because of their quality but because I think it spoils watching the film if you hear Mean Woman Blues or Party too many times. Save the former for the crackin' diner/restaurant scene in which Elvis has a dance-off.

Another BMG (buy my garbage) exclusive for the that elvis fan on your list who was born on another planet, and may not have heard these songs 3000 times.
