Elvis performed at the Cleveland Public Hall Auditorium, Cleveland, Ohio at 2.30 and 8.30 p.m. This was the first time that Al Dvorin took over as announcer. He would say at the end of each show the now famous words: Elvis Has Left The Building.

It’s not my favourite Christmas tune by our boy, that slot goes to Holy leaves and Christmas trees. However, this is a timeless classic but I don’t like the backing singers and I have got bored of it. Silent Night would be my favourite Christmas 57 recording and I prefer most of the others over Blue Christmas.
