In the evening Elvis flew to Las Vegas for a short trip at the New Frontier Hotel. This was Elvis' first trip to this show mecca and he was entranced.

Scotty is great on this track. Besides Scotty & Elvis, Dough Poindexter is playing guitar on this one. The percussion sound is Bill Black's bass. Elvis gets too close on the mike with Pay your Bills, something Sam Phillips warned him about. It just makes this recording better. This version differs much from all the country versions done before Elvis. Elvis really rocks it.
