Words & Music:
Albert E. Brumley
Soon we'll come to the end of life's journey
And perhaps never meet anymore
Till we gather in heaven's bright city
Far away on that beautiful shore
If we never meet again this side of heaven
As we struggle through this world and its strife
There's another meeting place somewhere in heaven
By the side of the river of life
Where the charming roses bloom forever
And where separations come no more
If we never meet again this side of heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore

Again beautifully sung by Elvis. A good gospel track, that fits well on the album.
I picked this song for my mother's funeral two years ago, and I think of her every time I hear it. Having heard several other versions, incl. Johnny Cash's, I must say the beauty of Elvis' voice is unmatched on this one.
lovely song, Elvis' vocal is impeccable.
Elvis was, in Gospel field, as good as or even better than in Rock field. When we ear Elvis singing Gospel music is impossible not to feel how truly we was committed, happy and praising the Lord. Even if you're not a believer. Great song, great words, perfect rendition.
Sung with deep feeling, soul, and total conviction. Tenderly conveyed showing Gospel at its sublime -5 stars.

A well-written and wonderfully sung sacred song. 5 stars.
This is such a splendid song and Elvis has the very best rendition of it for sure. The best gospel music will definitely always be Elvis' gospel music. Also, no one will ever be able to sing gospel songs as well as Elvis sang them.
Beautiful song; beautifully sung. The greatest rock'n'roll singer, possibly the most famous person in the world at the time (1960) and he sings something so un-mainstream. It shows that Gospel was probably the real true musical love for Elvis.
Great recording, great album, both 5 stars, love this song.
A know a lot of versions. But this one is so intens. So great. He feels the lirycs and the tekst is really true. No matter if you ar religious or not.Played a lot when i lost a few love ones
Perfect vocal what a great period this was for Elvis' voice and recordings.Exceptional
A true classic! I give it the same amount of stars that are in the heavens.
From the gospel album "His Hand in Mine", this is one of 12 of his ultimate best. The man was at his best on this album. It was a complete surprise to me as it was a Christmas Present I hadn't expected and had no idea this album was on the market for sale back in 1960. One of the few surprises in my life and indeed, a great one.
A touching song, beautiful sung, excellent produced. Truly flawless. 5 stars.
