I'll send you red roses by the dozen
I'll call you sweet little things like turtle dove
I'll whisper pretty things in your ear
The kinda things a girl likes to hear
Baby, if you'll give me all of your love
I'll bring you pounds and pounds of chocolate candy
To prove it's you that I've been thinking of
Tear up all the pictures I own of every pretty girl I've ever known
Baby, if you'll give me all of your love
I'll take you dancin' every night until you're ready to drop
I'll kiss your sweet red cherry lips until you holler stop
Every night I'll serenade you 'neath your window
If you need me just a whistle and I won't need a shove
I'll hug you squeeze you tight as I can
It ain't gonna be no one-night stand
Baby, if you'll give me all of your love
I'll take you dancin' every night until you're ready to drop
I'll kiss your sweet red cherry lips until you holler stop
Every night I'll serenade you 'neath your window
If you need me just a whistle and I won't need a shove
I'll hug you squeeze you tight as I can
It ain't gonna be no one-night stand
Baby, if you'll give me all of your love
Baby, if you'll give me all of your love
If you will give me, if you will give me all your love

Very poor attempt to try & return to a rock n roll style that just seemed so forced it didn't work at all. Long Legged Girl was Cant Get No Satisfaction compared to this one.
I actually like this song. It's a rocker, even though it's a moviesong. If you forget that it's from a movie, it would rate much higher in my opinion. To me, it's a movie-gem.
C'mon Everybody,Long Legged Girl and this a totally embarrassing as Elvis try's to return to his roots with sub standard material.
Okay movie rocker. I don't hit the skip button, but nothing special.
To be honest didn´t know it existed! Had to find it on "Tube", and I must say I was better off not knowing it. Total waste of talent and time. Better than "Confidence" and "Do the Clam" though. Why on earth the King of Rockn´ Roll never put his foot down and said NO to these "films" and songs we´ll never know. Thank God for people like Ernst Jørgensen and YOU for reviving the greatest singer ever in the minds of people.
Cheap rock and roll. If this was a suit, it would be a Sears Roebuck special instead of fine Italian lace which would relate to say, Big Hunk Of Love. Bad attempt at a rock song made even worse by the overdone, overused 'Elvis ending' .
Its a fun movie song. And a nice performance by Elvis and the band. The outakes are even better, than the released version on the "Double Trouble" soundtrack". Thankfully Elvis, selected stronger material, later on.
I don't mind to listen to it...altough I don't miss much if I don't !
Poor song from a weak album, low point for me, roll on '68
Recorded for and included in the movie and soundtrack LP "Double Trouble". A forgettable rock and roll track with one of those lines that makes you want to scream "I'll bring you pounds and pounds of chocolate candy". Couldn't they have made the line "Everyday I'll bring you boxes of sweet candy" or something. Another song with a horrible line like this is "One Track Heart" from "Roustabout". "Like a choo choo train that's gotta keep a-chuggin"??? I know the writers had strict time frames to write a song, but really "choo choo train" How about "Like a big freight train"? Oh well...I digress.
Film rock fodder that sounds better with visuals but loses impetus on vinyl. Obviously not a memorable highlight of his career but then again not an ummitigated dissater, and a track I never skip.
I first heard this one on the Mahalo LP and thought it was great.I still like it, including the Elvis-ending. Elvis-endings never suck.
I've always loved this one. Elvis could sing anything and make it great!
I've always loved this movie song and Elvis' rendition of it was fabulous. I've never skipped it. This is a much better song than a lot of Elvis' other 1960's movie songs.
It is not fifties material, but I kinda like it, including the discussed 'Elvis ending'. And it is not worse than pop songs from that period.
"Double Trouble" was one of the first Elvis movies that I ever saw, and remains one of my favorites. If my introduction to Elvis was "Stay Way Joe" or "The Trouble with Girls and How to Get into It", then I would not be posting comments on this web site. "Baby if You Give Me All Your Love", "Long Legged Girl", "City by Night" and the title song were/are great.
This is such an underrated, overlooked, enjoyable and fun movie song.
The other fifteen songs that Elvis recorded that were written or co-written by Joy Byers were "C'mon Everybody", "Goin' Home", "Hard Knocks", "Hey, Hey, Hey", "Hey Little Girl", "It Hurts Me", "I've Got To Find My Baby", "Let Yourself Go", "Please Don't Stop Loving Me", "She's A Machine", "So Close, Yet So Far (From Paradise)", "Stop, Look And Listen", "The Meanest Girl In Town", "There Ain't Nothing Like A Song" and "There's A Brand New Day On The Horizon".
Hectic couldn't replace a great idea or hide the fact that no one really rocks on this annoying, cheasy song ... a song where it's audible, that no one that was involved in the recording believes in it. Pure trash. 1 star.
Listenable soundtrack filler. Nothing more. Elvis had and would sing worse.
Never purchased this soundtrack back when it was originally released nor did I actually see this movie. Eventually, when I did hear it, it was a "do nothing" song. 1-star.
