I got this album in it's original vinyl form as a Christmas gift from my Grandma back in '62. I was a lad of 12. So, I confess a certain sentimental attatchment to it. Nonetheless, this is my favorite non-soundtrack album from the '60s. Yes, you read it correctly. My FAVORITE. Elvis, the balladeer is in full bloom. Great songs. Exquisite voice.

A great l.p. I love Elvis in the 50's,60's and 70's but,between1960-1964 his voice was unmatched.Elvis Is Back,Something For Everybody,Pot Luck and For The Asking[the l.p. that never was].All are bona fide classics!
