Home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
I don't need a mansion on a hill
That overlooks the sea
Anywhere you're with me is home
Maybe I'm a rolling stone
Who won't amount to much
But everything that I hold dear
Is close enough to touch
For home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
Maybe I'm a rolling stone
Who won't amount to much
But everything that I hold dear
Is close enough to touch
For home is where the heart is
And my heart is anywhere you are
Anywhere you are is home
Home, home, home, home, home

Good song from the early 60's movies. One of my favorites.
Outstanding ballad from the movie and EP "Kid Galahad". Elvis' vocals on this one are perfect.
An excellent sweet ballad. An unusual lyric structure too with the bridge repeated.Magical
Outstanding indeed. One of my favourite movie ballads. I remember buying the Laurel Bootleg "Radio Recorders Revisited" and this one gets a regular spin, because of some excellent alternate takes with a very good sound quality. I give it 5 stars.
Always liked this song very easy to listen to. Elvis sounds like he means the words he is singing, a good song from a pretty good movie.
Phenomenal ballad sung with meaning and a delivery using his mellow sounding voice. Kid Galahad had some real nice songs.
This is such a beautiful, underrated and overlooked ballad and it's easily one of Elvis' very best movie songs from the 1960's.
In the early years of our marriage, my wife and I couldn't be together because of the sctrict legistrations in Holland. So when I visited her in Vietnam, I always had to leave her behind when I went back home. One time on the airplane I listened to Elvis songs and this one came on. Needless to say I thought I had to be in Vietnam, 'cause there was my heart. We are happy together now, living in Belgium.
Amazing-Overlooked-and would love to see this get a new backing instrumental track and the song extended, and re-released on a new "Love" song Collection. It needs to be more well known.
this song is a a beautiful diamond.
One of the King's best '60s ballads. Co-written by Hal David (of the great team of him and Burt Bacharach). Hal also co-wrote "A Whistling Tune," originally recorded for Follow That Dream, but saved for Kid Galahad. Five stars.
