Let's take the phone off the hook
Turn the lights way down low
Baby put down that book
Tell the maid to go
Do not disturb
Hang the sign on the door
Do not disturb
It's time to make love
And I can't wait anymore
I'll just pull down the blind
Now come over here
I've got one thing in mind
Let's get comfortable dear
Do not disturb
Hang the sign on the door
Do not disturb
It's time to make love
And I can't wait anymore
Everything's right tonight
Mmmm, it's great when we kiss
Now your arms hold me tight
Let's stay like this
Mmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmmm
Mmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmmm

BY this time the movie songs were all blurring into each other. I guess its not too bad considering the other songs on the LP but that's not saying much. Very average tune but better than some other movie songs. That's the way I sum it up.
like the movie like the song. thats it
A nicely peformed situational ballad from Elvis 17th movie "Girl Happy". Even though it is a situational song, it is very pleasant to listen to on the LP as well. "Girl Happy" is one of my favorite movies of Elvis' and favorite movies period. It is just plain fun!
Nice ballad that has a slightly smoky nightclub feel about it. This particular song could exist outside the film while many others on this soundtrack did not transfer that well to vinyl.
He almost sounds like he's talking instead of singing. Not all the lyrics lend itself to singing. Not very good.
This is a good song and it's always enjoyable to listen to. I rate this song 4 stars. It's also a better song than many of Elvis' other 1960's movie songs.
Great song! I give it the same amount of stars that are in the heavens.
I've played the song and the soundtrack many times throughout the years. Very enjoyable.
Everything that makes a great song / recording is missing here. .. i mean: it sucks a#s. 2 stars with a lot of good will.
This has always been one of my favourite movie songs from the mid sixties. I love the arrangement and Elvis had a hard time singing it. But his perseverance paid off and the result is a fine tune that stands on its own from the movie. I listen to it a lot. 4 stars
