The original was hot because they released the bootleg only a short time before RCA planned to release most of it on the new Essential Elvis CD "A Hundred Years From Now". It's been crazy times back then. This re-release here is a boring pure cashing in while playing with the 50 year copyright rules in europe.

This was a gas then. And it is in parts different then the officiall Essential release. I just can´t say what exactly is different, I can´t remember well.

The bootleg was much more pure and unedited. RCA also edited out some bad language (i.e. the mo.erf.cker in Cindy Cindy etc.) Outtakes of 70's songs were still a miracle back then. And getting all these unedited recordings was pure gold in those days.
