FTD Vinyl announced the release of 'Elvis Sings Memphis Tennessee' limited edition. The album contains great alternative versions of songs from The Lost Album sessions in May 1963 and January 1964. Mastered at Abbey Road Studios, the album is released in 180-gram format.

Looks nice, but not for me cause I am not a vinyl collector anymore. And what about the other ftd release. Ah, yes, a box set but I don´t want to tell more about it, you can read it here soon.

Been waiting for this vinyl release for some time. Will buy. As for the other FTD release, I know of what you speak, but will say nothing.

Although I no longer purchase vinyl, I find it interesting in glancing at the artwork on the back of this upcoming release which shows the various singles most of these songs ended up on when first released as 45RPM singles. Would have been a decent album if released as such back in the day rather than the Colonel Parker method of doing his "hodge-podge" thing; a shame! A lot of excellent music misguided as to it's release; try "It Hurts Me" for one.
