Last week the December issues of both the German and French fanclub arrived.
My Happiness
The 106th issue of My Happiness has a huge article on the end of Hollywood (for Elvis that is: Live a Little, Love a Little, Trouble With Girls, Change Of Habit and Charro). There's also an interview with someone we hear pretty often nowadays: Darlene Love. Of course all the regulars like reviews and 'today in France' are present too.
Graceland
The Germans came in with #244 of Graceland. As usual the last issue of the year is accompanied by a calendar poster, this time focusing on 1969, and there is also a nice Christmas card included. Content wise the issue has, besides the regulars, attention for other artists with an in memoriam for Tony Joe White and an article on Glen Campbell. There's an item on Christmas with Elvis and the headliner (at least for me) is an article on the November tour in 1972, with marvelous pictures. The magazine closes with part 4 of a series on the Memphis Mafia: Larry Geller and Marty Lacker.
