I see nothing in that track listing that will entice me to purchase said product.
How many times can one go to the "well" and still be thirsty? What a joke; not buying this scam.
The CD tracks do not add up to what I was expecting on several different levels and my initial reaction is disappointment. It appears for starters that these tracks if key, mean that many significant events and sessions are not covered, however I will try not to prejudge and cautiously await the release in April. ( or later as I am in the UK).
Is this a joke or what ? 2 CDs, but the whole material fits well on one CD. And no DVD/Blu ray release !?
WRONG INFO -- The above track listing is for LP vinyl only. The 2-CD set will offer many more tracks... even though most of them will be the same ol' songs that we've bought & heard for decades. Let's not forget that Elvis hasn't recorded very much since June of 1977.
That seems to make sense TheMemphisFan, and I would take heart from that, and do not have a problem whatsoever with a wholesale repeat of tracks issued a multitude of times in the past. What does seem an issue for me personally is that there is only one 1950's film track, no 60's film tracks, no 1971 tracks, no TTWII/Aloha and nothing from the 1973 Stax sessions. This then makes me think that we will possibly hear loads of lengthy interviews and nothing coming close to being an anthology.
