Wow, that's a ugly Elvis. Outfit isn't right either.
They had better put a computer generated head on it instead and a computer genarated outfit and a computer genarated everything. Lol

Now. talking about crap. This is it. Maybe some bootlegs/compilations are worthless (I would not say crap), but this is from a to z in all ways crap. And what an ugly face for the man who is regarded as an adonis! Elvis at his worse looks millions of times better. Horrible production.

I reckon this looks pretty funny. I'm looking forward to it...

This is basically a remake of the 1997 film "Elvis Meets Nixon", which was very funny without making Elvis look like an idiot. It also showed the kind and generous side of Elvis, so there's a good chance that this new movie will be much of the same.

Coincidently I watched the made-for-TV 1997 film yesterday. As TheMemphisFan says it was quite funny and doesn't make Elvis look ridiculous. In fact both Rick Peters as Elvis and Bob Gunton as Nixon were good and I really enjoyed the film. Of course I believe no living person on earth will match Elvis' good looks and charisma. But Michael Shannon as Elvis in this new version looks horrible and far older than Elvis actually was at the time. Will have to wait until I see the whole film to judge if it is any good.

could be a fun movie, not to be taken too seriously. Iooks more like a comedy to me. I really loved Shannon s acting in
the boardwalk empire series, so I am looking forward seeing it.

Laughing my arse off. This is so funny.... Reminds me of the movie "Bubba Hotep".... another Elvis parody.

I'm steering clear of it unless I hear something positive, personally it's not the way I would have expected it to be done. This was a secret meeting between two of the most influential men in the western world, so many questions and by the looks of it so few answers.

I can't see Kevin Spacey being involved in a throwaway project. That said, the preview suggests that I'll wait for the DVD or Netflix.

I suppose someone or group will make money, and according to the saying there is no such thing as bad publicity, so perhaps even us Elvis fans will be winners. Personally I will stick with the song releases and occasional DVD.

When you don't see or feel the humor in this film (like me) it's crap and annoying ! Elvis looks again like a fool. Besides it's far beyond the truth. Already a long time I live with the fact that there is a lot of Elvis crap releases nowadays like this one because the Elvis bucket is EMPTY people ! So I just stick to my large Elvis collection and listen to his CD's en watch his DVD's.
