I really like this song, the feeling. It is nicely recorded and the background and band do their best. It's a shame, Elvis never decided, to put his vocal on it. Even after that session, were somebody stole his microphon, he could have picked it up and finish it. It is a nice sacred song, which fits Elvis nicely.
Elvis never sang this song, so there's no reason for it to be "Song Of The Day". This song should be deleted from the Elvis song list.
If ELVIS didn't perform on it it isn't a ELVIS song. I gave it five stars anyway. If ELVIS would've performed on it I would've given it a much higher rating.
I'm listening now to Tammy Powell's version. It sounds well suited for Elvis. A pity he didn't do his vocals on this one.
What a joke... He never recorded vocals. This section is really starting to lose it's purpose.
Once again wasting Song of The Day space.
The backing track was laid down at the "Raised On Rock" sessions." But Elvis never got around to laying down a vocal. Could have been interesting.
