Elvis looks surprisingly slim & youthful in his navy garb, almost a ghost of his appearance in GI Blues. The same, however, cannot be said for his unflattering wetsuit. This film is nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be. The only obviously awful moments are the 'Yoga Is As Yoga Does' segment (which seemed pretty pointless since Elvis sings it AFTER deciding to leave the room, so it doesn't develop the plot & it could easily have been avoided); the second failure of the film would be the prolonged shots of a stuntman standing in for Elvis as he dives to the bottom of the sea and finds treasure. I didn't believe for one second that this was Elvis and the demands placed on the extension of my imagination were too great. Still, an enjoyable yarn with upbeat tunes, the willing participant Elvis as enthusiastic as always and a surprisingly high budget for a later-60's Elvis film.

Easy come easy go, thats what the Colonel bank account was after he tied in to 50 percent of Elvis purse. This picture is living proof of why Colonel parker should have been Keel Hauled.
