Great picture of Elvis from 1968, taken during the filming of his 30th movie ‘The Trouble with Girls.’ Beside him we notice Duke Snider, Duke had a small part in the movie as ‘The Cranker.’ But baseball fans could recognize him, since he was a former Major League baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played with the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963) and San Francisco Giants (1964). Edwin Donald ‘Duke’ Snider was born on September 19th 1926 in Los Angeles, California and was nicknamed ‘The Silver Fox’ and ‘The Duke of Flatbush.’ He played his final game on October 3rd 1964. In 1980 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame by BBWAA.
