Coming up soon is Graceland's third annual Holiday Concert Weekend "the perfect way to celebrate the season".
The December 13-14 weekend features two festive concerts, special evening tours of Graceland, a Jingle Bell Brunch and more.
Friday December 13, The Home for the Holidays with Elvis Concert features Elvis' vocals backed by members of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, plus Memphis musicians, vocalists and dancers. For the third consecutive year, the orchestra will be conducted by RPO's Robin Smith.
The main event is Saturday, Dec 14 and "Elvis Christmas Peace" with a special tribute concert with a variety of artists performing the Christmas and gospel hits that are featured on the original 2003 album. Hosted by John Paul Keith, guest performers for the evening include Reagan Strange, John Németh, Wendy Moten and the Tennessee Mass Choir – plus a special appearance by bass player Norbert Putnam. Elvis’ Christmas Peace will infuse classic Christmas and gospel with Memphis soul for a unique musical holiday celebration.
