On eBay Ginger Aldens Tour jacket is up for auction. Here is the info from eBay:
This first time for sale, Authentic 1977 Elvis In Concert summer Tour Jacket, comes from the private collection of Elvis's fiancee, Ginger Alden and is being sold on her behalf. The jacket is unworn, like new and was given to Ginger Alden by Elvis Presley. This jacket was to be worn on the tour starting in Portland, Maine on August 16th, 1977 which unfortunately never took place.
The jacket is 100% nylon with white and red striped ribbing on the cuffs, waistband and collar. There are two front slit pockets along with a front zippered closure. It is a men's size small, roomy ,with Ginger's name written in ink on the inside label which reads, "Apollo by Holloway". There is a black, red and white "Elvis in Concert" patch sewn onto the left front with a "TCB"logo patch sewn onto the left arm sleeve.
These tour jackets were only given out to a select few, and it would make a wonderful gift or display item for the true fan who wants a piece of Elvis history!
This jacket comes with a letter of authenticity signed and dated by Ginger Alden.

How do we REALLY know that it is for real? I see these jackets in Memphis every time I have been there.

Right or wrong, if we were struggling financially, we would do exactly the same thing as Ginger, so I wouldn't criticize her at all.

To Lighthouse: Don't understand what?
To Jeff: How could she? I Don't know. Maybe she needs the money.
To all: It's hers. She has the right to do with it as she pleases. Even it was once connected to Elvis. Get over it!

She must need the money, at least she's not writing another book which is what most of that lot usually do when the cash is a little thin. Judging from what I've learned about Ginger and her actions when Elvis died I would neither want or trust this item anyway.

I don't think she needs the money. I know she owns a beautiful home in the Hamptons...
