Last summer STAR surprised fans worldwide with the release of the And I Love You So DVD, never before we had seen a concert from '76 in this quality and of course a follow up HAD to be done. This time they chose footage from 71/72. Elvis is in great shape, not only his amazing voice but the moves and spirit he brings on stage, unfortunately was probably the last time fans got to witness this. Lots and lots of rare footage has been combined to make an incredible one hour show with 23 complete performances. More close ups and better quality then the first volume.

Well I am definitely on board for what is probably about 20 US$ or £10 sterling at the most. As an aside I have just found a guy via YouTube named Peter Stefan Schmidt who reckons he has over 50 hours of rare Elvis film (including Lake Tahoe) and gives shows to small audiences in Germany . I have seen clips and they are in a remarkable quality but costs thousands of dollars to reach that standard while copyright etc stops them being widely available.

I'm a little confused about the many cuts. Sure, they wanted to give the impression of a complete show. But the permanent switching from blue suit to white suit etc. is a bit exhausting. A good solution for collectors would be to add the used clips as they were .. in one piece .. as bonus. But STAR does a good job in giving us high class 8mm footage with their series.

I received my DVD yesterday and I really enjoyed watching it. Great picture quality and great edits. Much better than the And I Love You So DVD. But that's just my opinion. Thumbs up.
