MxF LP&2CD Special Product November 2019
To be released in the middle of November, First In Line Vol.2 (MxF Records) will focus on Elvis’ January&February 1974 Vegas season, featuring the midnight show from January 30th and the evening show from February 08th, 1974, both the shows previously unreleased and taken directly from the original ambiance high-quality tape.
Elvis’ tolerance for Vegas has reached its limit in the previous august 1973 season so after the deserved rest of 5 months, Elvis is back in Las Vegas Hilton. According to the new contract, He will perform twice a year, but only two weeks at a time rather than the previous four. The repertoire was reduced compared to the previous season to 15/20 songs with three new additions: Help me, Spanish Eyes and the popular Let Me Be There. The choice of songs in the different shows varied little, but due the 9 days of the distance of the two shows here presented we have some a few variations in the songs, this for sure make more interesting the listen of both the shows. .
They are happy to be able to associate two great performances with great audio quality in order to be able to obtain a result that you can enjoy too.
Both The ambiance tapes are of very good quality, as you can appreciate both Elvis and the band and at the same time you can feel and live the live atmosphere of the intimate Las Vegas Showroom. In the first show closer to the opening of the season we still have the splendid You’ve Lost The Loving Feeling dropped 9 days later, with the inclusion of Sweet Caroline, the classic Johnny B. Good and the sentimental The First Time Ever I saw your Face..I longer show and slightly better in the audio quality and for this reason included in the LP.
This new MxF special Product will be housed in a deluxe 300 grams single sleeve that includes together with the 150 grams vinyl, the two Bonus CDs and bonus high glossy 130 grams 60x30 cm Poster both sides printed. In order to have a special collector’s item, the 400 copies will be presented with FOUR different vinyl color VARIATIONS. All the copies will be hand-numbered and individually sealed and Please remember!! This is a LIMITED HAND NUMBERED set of 400 COPIES.
For The first time of the label, MxF LABEL DECIDED TO PRODUCE TOGETHER THE 400 copies of STANDARD EDITION A LIMITED DELUXE VINYL BOXED EDITION of 60 copies WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENTS.
AGAIN this is the first time MxF label accompanied the double cd with a vinyl..for this reason, we decide to give you more.
Together with the 400 copies vinyl pressing and 60 copies deluxe pressing this double set will present in a 100 copies double set SPECIAL CD edition!!!
This Special CD Edition will be housed in a deluxe LONG DIGIPACK, containing a high-quality glossy 135-gram paper poster of 50x26 cm size and a high glossy paper bonus art card of 25x13 cm of size.. In matter to have a special collector item, the 100 copies will be presented with TWO different sleeves VARIATION. All the copies will come hand numbered and individually sealed.
