Really wished Elvis would have done a full blown version of this song instead of making it part of a concert medley. I think it would have been great, and he obviously liked the song. Not bad in the medley but Elvis seems to be rushing thru it.
This song should have never even been considered for Song Of The Day since Elvis only sang a couple of lines of it. I'll never count this song as a song that Elvis officially recorded. This is a good song though.
Elvis used a snippet of this song as part of a good medley that was a included in a great concert.
Good concert, horrible medley. Elvis once again rushing through some rock and roll songs, trying to get it over & done with. Phony and insincere. Blink and you miss it.
5 stars for the medley, from one super concert, damn he gave a lot of those every year from 69-77, my favorit concert years are in this order; 70,75,69,74,72,71,76,77, every year had its highlights.
No this does not qualify as a song - has to be at least about a minute duration for me to rate and comment on its merits.
Great rock 'n' roll medley, but why pay Loggins/Messina for a few lines off their song?
Part if a great medley from one helluva' good concert!!
It's not a recording of a 'song', it's part of a medley. We should be giving remarks on the 'medley'. Now, it was great.
Great line from a good medley and his best live LP.
Elvis did some short songs in his life...but is this a "RECORD" LOL.
Two lines of a song as part of a medley as song of the day? Nah, doesnt count for me.
