Well alright, okay, you win
I'm in love with you
Well alright, okay, you win
Baby, what can I do
I'll do anything you say
It's just got to be that way

Well alright, okay, you win
I'm in love with you
Well alright, okay, you win
Baby, what can I do
Anything you say I'll do
As long as it's me and you

All that I am asking
All I want from you
Just love me like I love you
And it won't be hard to do
Recorded: 1974/09/29, first released on Dragonheart

While Glen D. was playing "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" during the introductions, elvis threw in a few lines of "alright..". Listened to it ones was more than enough for me. Hardly worth mentioning.

This is such a marvelous song and the best version of it that I've ever heard is Peggy Lee's studio version. It's such a shame that Elvis never recorded a proper version of this song. I rate Elvis' boring and plain 9/29/1974 live version of it just one star and Peggy Lee's classic and brilliant studio version of it five stars.

Terrific piano but more shouting than singing from Elvis but at least it gives an idea of what the finished article could have been.

Fantastic! I give it the same amount of stars under the heavens.

The Elvis version is not on Spotify, but I heard Peggy Lee's & Joe Williams' version; the first sounds more jazz, the second more blues. Not a typical Elvis song, but it could've worked I guess.

This is a great song that Elvis played around with during his autumn tour of 1974. The song is more shouted as sung at times but could have been a great recording if Elvis had done a more serious attempt. Two stars for this recording. Joe Williams has made the best cut of this song in my opinion.

As I understand it, Elvis only sang this once in public. I checked it out on Youtube, and though it was really short, I thought that performance was quite promising. Could have been fitting album material at a crucial time in his career. He really needed some good material back then

The song itself is great. A shame that Elvis didn't record a proper version.
