May 14, 1949: The Presley family, still living at 370 Washington Street, was about to move to another rooming house on Polar Avenue.
May 14, 1955: Elvis performed at the Shrine Auditorium, New Bern, North Carolina at 7.00 and 9.00 p.m.
May 14, 1956: Elvis performed at the Mary B. Sawyer Auditorium, LaCrosse, Wisconsin at 7.00 and 9.30 p.m.
May 14, 1957: Elvis swallowed a cap from one of his teeth, while working on the dance sequence in Jailhouse Rock.
May 14, 1964: Elvis finished his work on Roustabout with some more publicity stills. Afterwards there was a brief recording session at Radio Recorders to overdub the new title song.
May 14, 1965: Elvis returned to Radio Recorders for overdubs from 5.00 to 7.30 p.m.
May 14, 1968: Elvis had a meeting with Bob Finkel about his upcoming Christmas special and Elvis declared that he wanted the special to be something completely different from everything else he had done. He wanted everyone to know what he really could do.
May 14, 1974: Elvis flew from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe to begin rehearsals with Joe Guercio and the rhythm section for his upcoming show.
