Elvis, Priscilla and Lisa-Marie flew to Aspen, Colorado, with several of the entourage for a ski and snow vacation.

The rehearsals for the Las Vegas engagement were now replaced to the showroom, commencing at 1.00 p.m. each day. Last august Elvis was dissatisfied with the sound of the showroom, so now engineer Bill Porter was hired to help Felton run the sound board during the show.
