Elvis, Scotty, Bill and Bob Neal flew to New York City and this flight was almost certainly Elvis' first airplane flight.

Elvis performed at the SS Mount Vernon, Washington, D.C. where he was the featured attraction on the Country Music Cruise promoted by well-known country DJ and promoter Connie B. Gay.

Elvis attended an all-night gospel singing at Ellis Auditorium.

This was Elvis' last night before his inductions. Elvis, Anita and some friends went to a drive-in and afterwards everyone went roller-skating. Elvis didn't go to bed all night.
