This is a welcomed release. The afternoon show was previously released in 'The Man in White vol.1' but the evening show is unreleased.

On Keith Fynn's site we get the information that both shows of the 16th were also recorded. FTD should release all 4 shows together.

Another show from 1974, the song list is good. Very cool cd cover art. I hope the sound quality is very good and not muffled

The date is June 16 not 15.

The June 16 afternoon show was released on Jackpot In Fort Worth. Pretty bad audience recording though.

Great schows from a still decent tour.

Looks good ! If this lives up to what the press release says then this should easily make redundant the dull Omaha '74 FTD. Being only the second day of this long tour Elvis should sound more fresh and full of energy, so I'm expecting a lot from this one. But who is behind these nothing titles ? I would have titled it 'Father's Day in Fort Worth - 1974'. The dialogue of Elvis introducing Vernon on Father's Day, which originally appeared on the epic 'Having Fun On Stage' novelty album should feature here also. Looking forward to it.

Hate to change the subject here, but what's going on with this years feature Elvis project from Sony Legacy ? I was expecting a set from Nashville '71, since the 1970 set sold really well last year (well at least from my neck of the woods). July has ticked over and I still haven't heard a squeak from E.J and Sony Legacy. So far there's only been FTD products and upcoming 'On Tour - 1972' products. If nothing is planned then that's the first time (post Elvis' lifetime) since I can remember. Any answers out there ?

Way Down Under: They are concentrated on the ''On Tour'' project. There's a lot of money to be made on this one! Get ready everyone! The cash cows are coming home!!! Jorgensen and Lorentzen are getting ready to mow the lawn!!!!!!!

By the way if any of you are wondering as to why I'm so critical to these people, it's simple, I'm writing for the guy or gal who work hard for there money and spend there money hoping to get something new and usually ends up the other way. These people are making incredible profits from an entertainer who's been dead for almost 44 years. Think about it, no personal expenses whatsoever! The least they could do is offer a decent release once in a while.

Elvis has left the building since June 26, 1977

FTD should consider a 1971 Vegas or tour concert set for this year if there's nothing forthcoming from Legacy this year. We've waited more than long enough since the Boston Garden FTD. They used to release shows on an anniversary year, like Takin' Tahoe Tonight in 2003. I reckon they should return to that format.
