Musician, songwriter, producer and label owner, Stan Kesler passed away at 92. Elvis recorded five of his songs: 'I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone', 'I Forgot To Remember To Forget', 'Playing For Keeps', 'Thrill Of Your Love' and 'If I'm A Fool (For Loving You)'. As a producer, Kesler's successful records included "Wooly Bully" by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.

I loved all 5 of his tunes which Elvis recorded. Everyone of them.

Another of his contemporaries no longer with us! With the exception of "Playing For Keeps" I like all his contributions to the Elvis catalogue. RIP

Certainly enjoyed all his contributions to the Elvis catalogue. When I purchased the Golden Records Volume 1 album in the UK 'I Forgot To Remember to Forget' was initially my favourite track. Being the first Number 1 for Elvis in the Country Charts and spending many weeks there, some commentators reckoned it was his second million seller (RCA and Sun combined).
