Estelle Brown Honoured

The last surviving long-term member of the Sweet Inspirations Estelle Brown is to be inducted into the Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars at Shreveport Municipal Auditorium December 6. Estelle Brown is a Shreveport resident and worked with the Sweet Inspirations who sang vocals with Elvis Presley at every tour from 1969 until his death in 1977. Brown, who continues to perform live, will be a part of the James Burton Christmas Concert: Memories of Elvis at Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City on Saturday, Dec. 8. The public is invited to attend Brown's Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars induction ceremony. The ceremony will take place inside of the museum located in the lobby of Shreveport Municipal Auditorium at 705 Elvis Presley Avenue in Shreveport.  Admission is free.
