I always give a wry smile when the 60's movie tracks are dismissed as totally irrelevant dross. This collection of 54 tracks is more than a passable selection, but obviously won't satisfy everybody. There are 36 1960's tracks but IMHO strong songs such as (apart from those 3 listed above) Doin' The Best I Can, Pocketful of Rainbows, Blue Suede Shoes, Summer Kisses Winter Tears, Lonely Man, No More, Hawaiian Wedding Song, Steppin' Out of Line, Ku-U-I-Po, Angel, King of The Whole Wide World, I Got Lucky, Because of Love, They Remind Me Too Much of You, Mexico, Margarita, What'd I Say, C'mon Everybody, Anyone, Big Love Big Heartache, Puppet On A String, Kismet, Sand Castles, I'll Be Back, Paradise Hawaiian Style, City By Night, You Gotta Stop, Suppose, All I Needed Was The Rain, Stay Away, Goin' Home, You Don't Know Me, Edge of Reality , Wonderful World (1968),Almost In Love, Charro, Rubberneckin', Let's Be Friends, Swing Down Sweet Chariot are omitted and could have been used as substitutes without detriment to the collection. That totals 78 tracks up for consideration, which is not an exhaustive list , but in itself represents 35% of all his 60's film output (ignoring Tickle Me). which isn't an unmitigated disaster in my book.
