Moody Blue Anniversary

Sony will release the vinyl RCA album Moody Blue LP as a 40th anniversary limited edition in clear BLUE 180 gram vinyl on September 1, 2017.

Moody Blue was Elvis’ final studio album released by RCA Records the month before his death in August 1977. The album was a mixture of live and studio work, and included the four tracks from his final studio recording sessions in October 1976 and two tracks left over from the previous Graceland session in February 1976. "Moody Blue" was a previously published hit song recorded at the earlier Graceland session and held over for this album. Also recorded at the February session was "It's Easy For You"" written by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber. Two other track on the album were composed by John Rostill the English bassist and composer, recruited by the Shadows to replace Brian Locking "Way Down" became a hit after Elvis’death less than one month after this album's publication. I don't think the original was CLEAR blue vinyl! (And it's the US original Black label that is rare, not the blue, so don't get caught!)
