I wonder if they'll use the spliced version of Mama that was on the original album, or the variation that has appeared since.
What ? No soundtrack release ?
Well, there is at least the alternate master of "Let Us Pray" which could have been added here, as I assume the playing time is much below one hour. And then there are the some overdubbed versions from the movie, which could have been added here (at least in mono), correct?
I expect that 'Change of Habit' will also be released in one of the future cd releases by FTD, just as King Creole is being released soon. This is a book and the cd is a bonus, we have these recordings elsewhere.
Spot on Orion!! It seems like the producers of this FTD/FS project have plenty of time on their hands. Now they expect fans to shell out mega-bucks for more of Elvis' not too serious films ? Does such a project have to be that padded out ? Ok, the Christmas album and Flaming Star couldn't offer much but at least they got appropriate minimum soundtrack treatment. With this new batch, it now makes it 6 months since FTD's last concert release. Not good considering that the vaults have almost run dry on studio and soundtrack outtakes.
"Six months since FTD's last concert release". Ooops!! what a howler. I forgot about "Rock Around the Bloch". I actually meant an officially unreleased concert. But it makes you worry when you start seeing more overpriced rehashing of old material coming out more regularly.

That's exactly right, marty. Ernst probably still has plans for Live A Little Love A Little, Charro!, The Trouble With Girls, and Change Of Habit to be released together in a 7" package.
