Very sad news. Millie passed away at a time of year when her beautiful voice is heard so many times over-and-over on Elvis' recording of "Blue Christmas". Millie worked with Elvis for the first time on his Christmas sessions in 1957.

One of those very relevant people in the Elvis story. Yes a great voice hitting those soprano notes, but my lasting memory of her is part of the entourage walking to the stage in the TTWII - Her star will continue to shine.
