Kris Wheeler and Wayne Franklin are producing a documentary on bass player Duke Bardwell. The film intercuts the story of Duke's ill-fated stint in the TCB Band with current performances by Duke that illustrate why many think he should've been a star in his own right.

Looks interesting what i notice thou is that it looks like they goin to put elvis in a bad light elvis wasnt the kind to turn people down! i heard several shows with duke and i love him as bass player specially on burning love. Also elvis joked about every member of his band so thats no diffrent with duke. just hope they dont make it into a movie where elvis gets put up as the bad guy again i getting so tired of those kind of documentaires.

Whats the next movie The Bell Hop and The King. Remember the night Elvis went on a rage about Mario being terminated by Mr. Hilton. Yea I see the same amount of interest none. If Elvis did not like Duke he would have fired him and Elvis joke about everyone in the band but Duke just wasnt that close to Elvis so he took it personally.

Please, give me a break! The man gets to play bass for Elvis in approximately 180 shows and yet he has something to complain about. What a weenie!! I long for the day when people will take responsibility for their own success and failure.

Sure a 'nice guy' but i cannot stand his playing/style or anything that guy did for Elvis. just convinces me More how unsuitable Elvis + Duke were in the band!~
