Humm..Lets see petrol or the book? Think I'll pass on both & walk.
Ok, great!! But what's happening with the long awaited 'Sessions IV'? It's now been about 2 years in the pipeline now.
Dazman, you're right ! Probably a book with nice pictures, but how many books with "nice picctures" we have already ? A lot !
Sessions IV would be more than welcome for me too . Always El.
Good point about picture books, but also what could "Sessions-4" actually tell us that we can't learn Ernst's more accurate "Complete Recording Sessions"? Also I think Ernst's (also long awaited!) Sun book will be definitely more worth having than yet another Tunzi effort...
Keith Flynn's peerless website will always be more complete and up-to-date than any book when it comes to Elvis sessions.
Nothing great happened in 71, so why is Tunzi making the 40th anniversary a big deal? Dont be suckered in.
Harvey, you could be right of course, but being able to compare Tunzi's book with Flynn's website looks interesting to me. I also find it handy to have a book close at hand. Buffalo-Horn : I ow Ernst's book too and no doubt it's good, but there are contradictions between the info given by Tunzi, Ernst and Flynn. So I'll welcome every "new" info or facts, whatever the source may be . Always El.
Nothing good happened in '71? Oh, I don't know. I got to see Elvis in concert on Nov. 5th of that year. It's the only time I had that opportunity. It was a helluva concert.
nice, if it wasn't so darn expensive..
Perhaps there is something wrong with my eyesight, but I cannot see a price for this book mentioned anywhere in the above piece. Should we not know the price before we decide that it is too expensive?
$56 plus shipping, according to jatpublishing.com
All Tunzi books are pricey. There is no reason to believe otherwise.
