I never judge an album or a show by its cover, but that picture has got to be one of worst pictures of Elvis, I really hate it. I´m not familliar with the actual show, but a version of Trilogy in 1976 is really something special.
We have to consider that we are talking about a mid 1976 concert..and for this period the show is really good....it was one of the best shows from one of the better tours from this all in all disappointing concert year....
You're right. All us fans out here DO know what to expect from Elvis' Buffalo 76 concert which is why we're surprised to see that this CD is actually advertising the show from Mobile '77 when this tracklist was performed. Elvis didn't perform Unchained Melody or I Really Dont Want To Know in June 1976 so you've either got your publicity wrong or your "newly discovered original tape" is from a different show in a different year to what you claim. Either way it doesn't bode well for this release. Maybe it's just as well you're only pressing 300 copies.
I was at this show along with several friends and it is without doubt one of the best shows Elvis performed. A total riot ensued when he did Jailhouse Rock. Where do I get this one?
As I stated previously I was at the show. I just read over the song list. Elvis did not perform Unchained Melody "NO WAY" - this is a different show. I'm disappointed as I was really looking forward to having a copy of Elvis' Buffalo Concert in 1976.
I have "One Helluva Night" and this set list most definately ain't it!
Yep...wrong tracklisting......this should it be..

This is most likely a setlist from 1977. Could be June 2, 1977.
RonD, thank you for sharing. I am very much interested in reading about the experiences people had attending a show. Your enthousism is all the more a reason for me to try to lay my hand on this CD. Appreciatingly yours.
I share Natha's thanks to all the people giving such good info about some specific releases !
But in this case, I wonder what Millbrach Music will do, given the fact they announced a wrong trackinglist .Which (correct) concert will be released on this upcoming cd ? Always El.
After listen and compared to the old titel one helluva night. This new one has a great improvment done.Looking forward to theirs next release.Thank you for this one :)
