Just released by Nextshow Entertainment on DVD in the United States is a new documentary entitled "The TCB Gang - The Way It Was (The Untold Story)". The DVD documentary has the last ever footage of the late Al Dvorin who died tragically in a car crash within just 28 hours after the filming, and the DVD is dedicated to his memory. Loanne Parker (the widow of the late Colonel Tom Parker), also agreed to go on camera for the first time and discuss the intimate details of her experiences with Elvis, The Colonel and the TCB Gang.
Only 900 copies have been produced of this DVD and it is claimed that it will never be re-released.
Synopsis:
Filmed In August, 2004, seven of the closest and most personal friends of Elvis Presley gathered together in Elvis' former suite at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel to reminisce and exchange stories about their personal experiences and admiration for Elvis Presley. The seven featured interviewees are:
Al Dvorin: Elvis’ friend and master of ceremonies.
Joe Esposito: One of Elvis’ closest friends, road manager and best man at Elvis’ marriage to Priscilla.
Jerry Schilling: One of Elvis’ closest friends and Memphis Mafia Member.
Dick Grob: Elvis’ Chief of Security and friend.
Charles Stone: Elvis’ friend and concert producer.
Loanne Parker: The widow of the late Colonel Tom Parker and close friend of Elvis’.
Sam Thompson: Elvis’ friend, personal bodyguard and tour advance man.
"The TCB Gang" was filmed with the permission of the Las Vegas Hilton in Elvis’ suite, which he occupied for many years, while performing there. This is the time filming about Elvis ever allowed in his old suite. The producers also state that the documentary was completely “unscripted” and “uncensored”. It is the filming of the heart felt expressions of seven of the closest people in the life of Elvis Presley. "The TCB Gang" was produced and directed by multi EMMY AWARD winner – Dennis Rosenblatt, protégé’ to Steve Binder (The Director of Elvis’ Come-Back Special in 1968).

Would love to get one of these myself. Sounds very interesting. Would love to hear Mrs. Parker's viewpoint on things. I thought her name was Marie? Am I wrong or was that her middle name?

Loanne Parker was Tom Parker's second wife. Parker's first wife Marie died years before.

Teacher, thank you. I've been a member of this site for a couple of years. I read it nearly everyday and am ashamed to say, I never realized the source was actually a link to additional information. Hello . my name is Joe Krein. i am new here. i have the site elvis2001.net . this dvd can only be purchased through me. but first i want to correct a few things. the 900 releases was a errer. there were a 1000 copies made. it was surpose to read . 900 left. but that number is long gone. the DVD has been selling so well. I am sorry to say that it will not be released out side the U.S.A . But we do ship outside the states. so you can purchase it. The video is 77 minutes long. lets see. yes Loanne is Parkers 2nd wife. The first Mrs. Parker died of cancer. I was there in Vegas when the DVD was made. It was the first and last time i saw Al. I am sure the DVD is selling so well because it is the last time Al was interviewed on tape. We were all very upset when we heard what happened. Thank god Ed made it out alright. The DVD may be reprinted . Meaning we will probaly change it in some way or add to it. We also taped the Kraig Parker concert at the Aladdin casino while we were there. Question, the Elvis Suite at the Hilton is no longer. It's now a room for the high rollers. Is this DVD playable in the United States?

ELVIS ROCKS. Yes you are right the elvis suite is no more. but it was done where it was. yes the dvd will play in the states. it was made in the states. i live in new york.
