Veteran actor, Harold Stone, has died of natural causes at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Los Angeles, aged 92. Harold Stone appeared as Shelley Fabares' protective father, Big Frank, in "Girl Happy".
The actor who worked with everyone from Humphrey Bogart to Jerry Lewis over a 40-year career in television and films was known for his chiseled features. Stone appeared in 30 films including "Spartacus," "The Big Mouth," "The Wrong Man" and "The Greatest Story Ever Told."

One of the best character actor & he was great in Girl happy as Shelly "Valerie" Fabare's father. One scene which is real funny is when he wanted to bail out Valerie from the jail. The policemen in charge asked him, How do I know you're her father. He replied: Do I do like her mother? May He find peace now & rest in Him.
