Brilliant, Wonderful, Terrific - It Happened At The World's Fair is definately one of Elvis' better movie. Elvis looks real cool with that "King Creole" hairstyle. One Broken Heart For Sale is a great song, so is They Remind Me Too Much Of You and I'm Falling In Love Tonight. The fight scenes are brutal and fierce. Little Vicky Tiu is also very cute. Watch out for Little Kurt Russell. Great quality DVD. I hope they will release Tickle Me on DVD soon. That will be super!

Well,FTD44 That's YOUR opinion, and I respect it. I don't expect anyone to think the same as me. No use arguing over it - no point to quarrell over it --To me I love it - and to you you hate it. It's all a matter of taste. Know something, I think my wife is the most beautiful woman in the whole world. I'm sure you won't ever agree when you see her as she's 40 plus and on the fatter side. { I hope she don't read this.} For me, IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD'S FAIR is one of His better movie. I like his hairstyle. He never looks so smartly dressed in any of his movies with the exception of The Trouble With Girls. I'm going to order the DVD in a little while. Cheers!

Airtouch67 -- I am happy and encouraged to know that You think the same as me. That's nice. It Happened At The World's Fair may not be his best film BUT it is actually a very good and entertaining movie. I liked it very much.

Hello. I'm surpirsed to see somebody say that It Happened at World's Fair is one his worse movies. I totally disagree. This is actually one of my all-time favorites! Elvis is dressed very well, not a hair out of place, and the film just has an overall fun feel to it. The songs are great, and who doesn't love a World's Fair? If I had to pickone thing about this movie I didn't like, it would have to be the actress who plays the lead. To me, she just looks a little on the old side to be with Elvis. Other than that, a great film for everyone to watch. I can't wait to get this beauty !

This is a very good movie from 1963 which features Gary Lockwood (who later became famous in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey) and Kurt Russell in a cameo. Elvis and Lockwood play pilots in this movie who land in Seattle, Washington during the World's Fair. The photography is excellent in this movie. The plot also moves along rather well. The music is suprisingly good. This is a witty movie that moves along rather well. There is a minimum of schtick and formulaic scenes. It Happened at the World's Fair is an enjoyable and intelligent Elvis movie, low key and subdued. This is one of the good Elvis movies from the 1960s. For those that haven't seen it, I highly recommend this movie on DVD. It shows that Elvis movies could be enjoyable and fun.
