Several magazines reached our office recently. Here is an overview.

Graceland

Graceland

From the German fanclub we found 2 issues in our mailbox. The last one of 2012 (#208) probably got lost but eventually found its way. Gladly, since it was in good company of a Christmas CD. The magazine itself has an in memoriam for Mr. Lansky. Besides all regulars there are also larger articles on MSG and Elvis’ love for Karate.

Number 209 brings an interview with Priscilla and part 2 of the Karate-article. Of course also this issue brings all regulars.

Golden Boy Elvis

Golden Boy Elvis

The other big German magazine’s last issue of 2012 has an their usual in depth reviews of the new stuff. Besides that there is a closer look to The Wonderful World of Christmas and their Elvis on Vinyl series it’s the turn for He Walks Beside me.

The OEPFC Magazine

OEPFC Magazine

The February/March issue has articles on Yvonne Craig, Tom Diskin, Jeremy Slate and Arch Johnson (the last two are from G.I. Blues). Also there is room for the 40th anniversary of Aloha.

The Man And His Music

The Man And His Music

Number 99 of TMAHM or EMM brings an interview with Arnold, Martin and Morrow who wrote a couple of songs for Elvis. From yesteryears there are original reviews of Elvis’ pre-army movies, a vintage interview with Chet Atkins and an article from New Musical Express from 1961. Als Keith Flynn’s series It Takes One To Know (Take) One continues.
