Someone must have got taken on the Elvis on tour DVD/VCD since no one left a comment at all has any one seen this one the previous ones anything you could tell me would be helpful. Just like Everyone else I am ready for the american version with all footage bonus material ect. how long did the original run. Thanks for the help if some one answers

The Elvis On Tour that has been featured here is the vcd version with just the footage from movie. it runs for 93 mins. just like the video, except its the widescreen version. it features just the original movie except you will ssee more of whats happening at times when Elvis is on stage as wellas off stage. its good. i cannot wait to get the dvd when its released officially. with all unreleased footage and features. I/WE hope we do not have to wait too long for this.

It is interesting to note that the last time "On Tour" was on TCM, the version they presented was in a slightly 'wider' version than the Laserdisc, but of course the sound was better on the Laserdisc version. This is most likely a copy of the Laserdisc pressing. I have 3 versions, TCM copy direct on to DVD, Laserdisc and VCD versions, and the VCD is horribly cropped to fit the 4x3 aspect ratio. The TCM version is good, but the laserdisc is best.
