Elvis returned the call from Red West and for the first time after the firing they had a long talk. Red taped this conversation where Elvis sounded confused and incoherent. There was the overall tone of regret on both sides.
Elvis never confronted Red directly, but simply said: " If you need me for anything, I would be more than happy to help out. You do whatever you have to do. I just want you and Pat to know I'm still here."
