May 28, 1955: Elvis performed at the Big "D" Jamboree, Sportatorium, Dallas.
May 28, 1956: Elvis and Gene Smith flew home to Memphis.
May 28, 1957: Elvis bought his first grand piano for Graceland for $795 from Jack Marshall in Memphis.
May 28, 1960: Elvis spent the weekend in Las Vegas.
May 28, 1966: Like the days before Elvis went into the studio again, but without the Imperials his spirit to record was gone. Only 2 songs were completed between 7.oo and 10.00 p.m.
May 28, 1969: During this period at home, Elvis slept most of the day. He took a swim in the late afternoon before he went horseback riding on the grounds. He ended up down at the gates, where he talked with fans. In the evening he continued to screen movies at the Memphian.
May 28, 1976: Elvis performed at the James, W. Hilton Coliseum, University of Iowa, Ames, Iowa.
May 28, 1977: Elvis performed at the Spectrum, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
