Magazine Farewell

December 29, 2015 | Other

Just before Christmas I found 3 magazines in the mailbox, coming from Finland, Germany and France.

The King

The King

From Finland is the very last issue of The King. After 28 years Hanna Ignatius needs to focus something else in his life (he will find out there's a life next to Elvis). Unfortunately there's nobody to take over, so the fanclub cease to exist. Thanks Hannu (and other staff) for all the work you put in our man's legacy!
The content of this issue brings a retrospection by the staff, part 3 of All The King's Men, The Boss: indeed Bruce Springsteen's life, carreer and connections to Elvis, an article on Dolores Hart and an interview with Marlyn Mason.

Graceland

Graceland

Number 228 of this beautiful magazine by the EPG focusses on Tickle Me (with way too few pictures of Jocelyn Lane!) and the Uniondale shows (1975). Of course all regulars like news and reviews are present too. Last but not least: there's a calendar poster included with (more or less) rare record sleeves.

My Happiness

My Happiness

The French My Happiness delivered its 94th issue brings news, today in France, part 3 of the series on 1975 and the other regulars. Included is a nice postcard.
