Good to have a long overdue release of some Lake Tahoe shows. I hope the sound will be better this time around. I thought that the High Sierra CD sounded a bit muddy. I hope the shows will be even better too.

It's difficult for me to get enthusiastic about these type of soundboard recordings when there are fabulous multi-track concerts from 1972 (Elvis On Tour) that still haven't been officially released. Not to mention a couple of more shows from the 1969 Vegas season.

Two very good shows...from these days...on May 26, Elvis introduced the Jackson 5 who attended the show and Lisa was there, too...very fateful...the Jacksons opened on May 27 in Lake Tahoe. A completely new show btw..the other one has previously been out on boot Big Boss Man In Lake Tahoe..there wrongly dated as being May 24 DS and incomplete with fake ending and Heartbreak Hotel missing. All in all an excellent double pack ..not for collectors only...looking very forward to it..

Someone (on another forum) made fun of the artwork on this set, describing the addition of the stars on the front pic as "amateurish". However, perhaps there's method-to-the-madness of this artwork. Let's consider that the 5 stars over Elvis' right shoulder might be a hidden representation of the Jackson 5 . . . Only the designer of the artwork knows for sure.

Yes, I will buy it. Tahoe is always something special and different then Vegas, I think. And we get 2 concerts.

I will probably wait on the reviews before deciding whether or not to buy it.

I take advantage of this section to know if anyone could answer me, can we hope a special ON TOUR '72 (4 concerts were recorded i guess) or IN CONCERT '77 for this year? thanks

In Concert '77 is possible from FTD but their selection of material has been pretty random in recent years. I'd be leaving EOT '72 to Sony Legacy.
