Elvis Presley Turntable

August 23, 2014 | Other

Ricatech B.V. has released the first series of Elvis Presley Limited Edition Record Players, and handed over the very first copy to a Elvis fan in The Netherlands. We where at home of Elvis fan "Piet Spietman" living in Maarssen in The Netherlands. There was a press moment.  Piet Spietman: "i have waited a long time for this moment, and now i finally got my Elvis turntable. As a Elvis fan this is a great and unique product to have; playing my Elvis records on a Elvis Presley turntable is fantastic! It also is a beautiful piece for my Elvis collection, and looking great in my living room."

This turntable in one of the 3 models that have been designed and produced by Ricatech. There are 3 models with each a special design of a certain period of Elvis Presley: the 50's period, the 68' Comeback Special and the 70's Leas Vegas period. Ricatech is a worldwide license holder of Elvis Presley Enterprises, and is manufacturer of jukeboxes and record players. Last year, Ricatech released a high end, limited edition Elvis Presley jukebox. This jukebox, with a current retail sales value € 24.000,-  was made 50pcs worldwide only. The Elvis Presley turntables are released in August, and are a big success already. All units of the first production run are sold out before arrival. Fans ordering now, need to wait till at least October to get their Elvis Presley turntable. It seems that some large online retailers like Amazon has hold stock and is able to supply.

I went to Ricatech's website. All three turntables are there. $199.00 Euro dollars. All three look nice .I'm thinking about it ,but wonder how they sound . I also found a link for the jukebox which is a black Wurlitzer Bubbler . Also really nice, but expensive.
