Cinemaxx in Denmark will be showing "Elvis On Tour" at two separate screenings: In Copenhagen (Fisketorvet) on August 16th, and in Aarhus on August 17th. For the first time since 1973 in Denmark, the movie will be shown in its full glory on the big screen.
"Elvis On Tour" was always meant to be enjoyed in the cinema, and the visual effect of the split screens is truly stunning. It's as close as it gets to experiencing Elvis live on stage. Cinemaxx put a lot of effort into presenting the movie as it was meant to be seen. The quality of the master that they will be using is so good that you'd think the movie was filmed last week.
Cinemaxx is planning several surprises for the fans on those two dates: more about this as we get nearer to the date. A real treat and a great way to commemorate Elvis on the 40th anniversary of his passing. The presentation is in the hands of Arjan Deelen, author of "Elvis: Caught In A Trap" and "Walk A Mile In My Shoes".
