Well, I heard the news
there's good rockin' tonight.
Well, I heard the news
There's good rockin' tonight.
I'm gonna hold my baby
as tight as I can.
Tonight she'll know
I'm a mighty, mighty man.
I heard the news,
there's good rockin' tonight.
I say, well, meet me in a hurry
behind the barn,
Don't you be afraid, darling,
I'll do you no harm
I want you to bring
along my rockin' shoes,
'Cause tonight I'm gonna rock away
all my blues.
I heard the news,
there's good rockin' tonight.
Well, we're gonna rock. We're gonna rock.
Let's rock. Come on and rock.
We're gonna rock all our blues away.
Have you heard the news?
Everybody's rockin' tonight.
Have you heard the news?
Everybody's rockin' tonight.
I'm gonna hold my baby
as tight as I can,
Well, tonight she'll know
I'm a mighty, mighty man.
I heard the news,
There's good rockin' tonight.
Well, we're gonna rock, rock, rock,
Come on and rock, rock, rock,
Well, rock, rock, rock, rock,
Let's rock, rock, rock, rock,
We're gonna rock all our blues away.

This has to be my favourite SUN track. Elvis sounds so fresh and alive it makes me feel 16 every time I listen to it!
One of the best rock'n'roll songs ever in nearly any version, but Elvis brought it to exceptional height.
Very, very, very nice delivery from a 19 year old kid !...It's got all of Elvis' raw power in this early year of rock'n'roll. My favorite song from Sun records !
They don't come any better than this, a supreme classic Sun track, raw, raunchy and a taster of what the kids ( and their unbelieving parents) were going to get more of.
The real Elvis to me! Nuff said.
Just brilliant! If he had died after recording this song,he would still be a legend!
This song is definitely a true masterpiece and Elvis' renditions of it are all absolutely brilliant. My favorite Elvis era will definitely always be the 1950's.
Not my favourite Sun track as there are IMO at least 4 better than this one, but nevertheless the standard was so high that I agree it is a great piece of rock and roll. Hard to believe this was not the performance of a seasoned veteran and not the second release of a Memphis local 19 year old boy
No drummer can be heard on this one. But who misses a drummer when Bill Black is slapping his bass like that. A perfect rockabilly song done by the masters of it.
Absolute perfection. Rock-A-Billy at it's finest of an old blues song.
Elvis sang, Lets Rock, and the world responded. Love the Sun singles.
I like the SUN sides when I'm in the mood. 5 stars for this one.
One of his most convincing, electrifying recordings. Simply amazing. 5 stars.
